March Part 1

So much happened in the swift month of March, this update might take a few entries!

BDTW greets Warriors in the morning
The Breaking Down the Walls club took it upon themselves to greet the Warriors one fine March morning, taking inspiration from a beloved student, Mario, who can be seen out there everyday, greeting early Warriors (by name!)

What a great surprise and start to the day!

Musical Gears Up
The Warrior performers for this year's spring musical are getting ready for opening night, for the '25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee', a hilarious musical comedy that takes place at a middle school spelling bee. The cast, comprised mostly of seniors, have been been working hard to get into character , learn music and choreography, and perfect their show for audiences to start enjoying April 17!

Under the music direction of Mr. Carter and Direction of Ms. Cooper, the cast is creating an amazing show for the community.
The cast was treated to a guest director for a day, the Artistic Director for Berkeley Playhouse, Daren A.C. Carollo, who has directed this show before, and he worked with the Warriors on character development.

Don't miss this fantastic show!!

Amazing Alums
Not only did Officer (former SRO) Mike Jaime earn an Officer of the Year nod, but in the same year, Deputy Sheriff alum Shawn Slous (class of 93) was honored as Officer of the year as well!

And another
Not only did Mario Jose (Class of '06) join Pentatonix, he was surprised by the group when in Chicago for their tour he was asked to OPEN for them!! His heartfelt rendition of 'Hallelujah' was "one of the best I've ever heard", according to band mates.
